My passion is to create beautiful things that make people happy. I've loved to draw since childhood, but have always doubted my ability, until becoming totally immersed in a picture of my whippet, Tallulah. My children gifted some beautiful coloured pencils for Mothers Day and they proved the perfect focus for recovery from a serious illness. Barely a day has gone by since then, that I don't have a pencil in my hand, taking inspiration from the stunning Mid Wales countryside surrounding our home.
Cocomojo Creations focuses my sense of purpose, fitting perfectly alongside home-educating our son, and enjoying family life with our dogs, cats and ponies.
COMMISSIONS
The greatest pleasure is receiving a commission request from a complete stranger who has seen and been inspired by my work. Entrusting me with producing a 'wall-worthy' portrait is an honour, one I take very seriously.
Choosing the right reference photograph is as important as the quality of the materials I use to create your portrait, so don't be surprised if I ask for lots!!
I really cannot emphasize enough that the better the reference image, the better the finished drawing will be.
My aim is to work with you to create a drawing you fall in love with.
I start with taking a 25% deposit to secure your booking. Once I have started your portrait this deposit is non-refundable.
I will send you progress updates, and once complete, you are welcome to come to see it, or I can send photographs.
The balance is to be paid once you are completely happy with the finished portrait.
All commissions are presented mounted, ready for you to frame, along with a certificate of authenticity and care instructions.
Shipping cost depends on size of drawing & destination. All artwork is presented wrapped in acid-free archivable paper, and suitably packaged for postage. I only use a first class, signed for, guaranteed next day fully insured delivery service. Please ask for a quote.

Prices are based on one subject, and the actual drawing will take up a good proportion of the paper. I work to a 2cm tolerance to allow for the best position for the mount board.
